About us
African Canadian Trade Company Inc. (ACTC-INC) was founded to build strong, mutually beneficial partnerships between Canada and African nations through trade and education.
The company record
After multiple trips to Africa to survey the market, our founder Chayo Moses Nyawello saw the opportunity to create lasting trade relationships. ACTC-INC was conceptualized in 2016 and established in Canada in 2019, with a mission to engage African nations as partners in business, education, and infrastructure development.
ACTC-INC is committed to ethical business practices, creating opportunities for economic growth, technological innovation, and sustainable development in Africa. Working closely with Canadian embassies, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Trade, the company is opening new markets for Canadian products like lumber, agriculture, oil and gas, and other key commodities.
Our goal is not only to grow trade but also to contribute to Africa's social and economic development through transparent partnerships that respect African cultures, resources, and people. We connect Canadian and African businesses and contribute to scientific research and educational exchange programs.
Mission
Our mission is to promote a reciprocal and beneficial business environment that supports sustainable enterprises, leading-edge technology, mutual trade, and investment opportunities.
By advocating for social and economic development in Africa, we aim to strengthen local economies, create jobs, and build lasting Canada-Africa partnerships through ethical trade and collaborative growth.
